Matt and Stef met 8 years ago in 2011 while working as nurses in Villa Colombo. Stef worked night shift on the 1st floor, and Matt worked evening shift on the 5th floor. Matt would use the excuse of having to pick up his pay stub on the 1st floor after his shift in order to talk to Stef. He would stay up until an hour after his shift just so he could talk to her. We were friends for a year, and we started to spend alot more time together. A year later we decided to make things official and became a couple. Matt was very persistent and never gave up persuing me. I guess you can say I was playing hard to get, but in the end Matt’s patience, caring nature and sense of humor is what attracted me to him even more. We ventured off to travel and explore the world together. With each new country we visited, new memories were created. There were many good times, and our share of not so good times, but through it all our love for eachother only grew stronger with each year that passed by. On our 7th year anniversary Matt finally proposed. Stef had been waiting a very long time for this moment to happen. We decided we wanted to get married soon, and within a few months we planned the wedding. And here we are today… finally married, and officially mr and mrs.
