Caribbean meets European 
Though we were both born in Toronto, Jennifer is of Portuguese descent and Nikolai is Trinidadian.
How we met – Workplace Nikolai and Jennifer work for the same company. Nikolai first introduced himself during an inventory audit at Jennifer’s workstation. From that point on, Jennifer would smile at him every time they crossed paths. He was always confused by it, but decided to approach her one day. As they talked and got to know each other, they noticed the chemistry. Nikolai began leaving a daily Lindt dark chocolate truffle on Jennifer’s desk before she arrived to work (dark chocolate being her favourite). After a few days Jennifer returned a wrapper back to Nikolai with a note hinting that she was interested in him.
Dating – Nikolai took Jennifer to Shops at Don Mills. They had dinner at a modern restaurant named Joey’s. It was a wonderful evening…and there have been many amazing memories since that day.
